Vendor Access Fund
The Vendor Access Fund is a permanent fund to provide more equitable vending opportunities to emerging businesses in our community.
Funds will be used to purchase essential supplies needed to begin vending at the Market as well as financial assistance to subsidize business insurance costs. BIPOC & LGBTQIA+, AAPI, Latinx, and Disabled vendors will be prioritized in the disbursement of available funds.
As a Market, we see ourselves as a space for small businesses to grow, flourish and contribute to the vibrancy of our local economy. Part of this vision is ensuring that folks have access to equitable opportunities in growing their business by removing as many barriers as possible. Our Vendor Access Fund is part of our response to these challenges. Resources will be distributed to WCM vendors with our BIPOC, Latinx, AAPI, LGBTQIA+, and Disabled vendors receiving first priority.
We want folks to come grow with us, reach new economic opportunities and root themselves in the local economy. The WCM Gift Registry and Vendor Access Fund will be used to cultivate a space where small businesses can flourish.
How Does it Work?
For Vendors: Once accepted as a vendor at the Market, vendors can fill out a form and apply for support from the Vendor Access Fund. Support from available funding/equipment will be distributed at random with priority given to vendors who self-identify as BIPOC, Latinx, AAPI, LGBTQIA+, and Disabled. If you are a current vendor, this form can be found in the Vendor Portal.
For Supporters: The Vendor Access Fund will help connect vendors with the resources they need to grow their businesses and have equitable access to the market economy. You may make a donation and include “Vendor Access Fund” in the Memo line.
Checks can be made payable to: “Whiteaker Community Market” and mailed to PO Box 1244, Eugene OR, 97402.

Your donation can be made tax deductible by giving through our Fiscal Sponsor, the Whiteaker Community Council.
Tax-deductible donations can be made payable to: “Whiteaker Community Council” with “Whiteaker Community Market” in the memo line. Mail tax-deductible donations to: PO Box 11792, Eugene, OR 97440.
